Humans are not born speaking dog. And dogs are not born speaking human! We have to learn about each other in order to thrive together. That’s where New Era Dog Training comes in.
About Us
Lisa Yasenchak CPDT-KA, FFCP, FDM
New Era Dog Training began long before it became a reality- starting with Ned, who you see in many of my photos. Ned was a complex dog who came to me with a lot of baggage and speaking a language I didn’t understand at the time. The more work I put into understanding him, the more I saw our relationship grow. It soon blossomed into a relationship based in trust and mutual understanding instead of one based in transactions. He inspired me to make a career shift and learn all I could about dogs, their language, the way they interact with our world and how to support them.
I left the corporate world and dove full time into training dogs- mentoring with other professionals and becoming certified, not only with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, but growing my skills with certifications in Family Dog Mediation and Fear Free Practice in order to provide a low stress, well rounded and needs based approach to working with my clients and their dogs.
Mission
Our Mission at New Era Dog Training is to help build relationships between dogs and human through shared language, trust and positive reinforcement training.
